Cameroon are the second-best African football team ever, having won five titles at the Africa Cup of Nations. In 2024, Cameroon lost in the 1/8 final phase, and that is certainly disappointing for a team like them. However, in June, Cameroon returned to the right track with two good games in the World Cup qualifications. In the previous game, Marc Brys' team played 1-1 on the road against Angola. The teams were pretty even in that match, so both sides could be satisfied with splitting the points. 

Namibia is far from the Cameroon level, as it often fails to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations. However, they played this year at the strongest continental competition and ended with a defeat in the 1/8 final against Angola. The last competition with Namibia was the COSAFA Cup during June and July. In the annual tournament of South African nations, Namibia played well but eventually lost 5-0 in the final against Angola.

Namibia played well at the COSAA Cup, but most teams play that tournament with pretty mixed lineups, and we shouldn't care too much about Namibia's success there. Before the COSAFA Cup, Namibia were in a run of six games without a victory. We should expect Cameroon to dominate in Saturday's game, as they played well in the most recent games.
