The Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers begin for Comoros and Gambia on Wednesday, with both teams set to clash at Ben M'Hamed El Abdi Stadium in the opening match of Group A.

Comoros are set to embark on their journey toward just their second final in this competition, having first made their debut in 2021, where they left a decent mark by progressing past the group stage before their campaign concluded in the last-16 round.
