Both nations kicked-off their Nations League campaign on Wednesday with contrasting results. While Poland scored a somewhat fortunate 3:2 win against Scotland, Croatia slipped to a 2:1 defeat in Portugal.

Now locking horns in Osijek, an intriguing contest should be on the cards, with the Croats desperate to get their first points on the board and the Poles keen to build on their win in Scotland. 

Goals seem likely to be on the cards, with Poland seeing plenty of goalmouth action in recent internationals. Micha? Probierz′s side have seen BTTS in nine of their last 11 matches, including each of their last six. Six of their eight most recent fixtures also saw at least three goals scored. 

On their travels once more, the Poles scored three in Scotland, while they have scored at least one goal in six of their last eight road fixtures.

Croatia, while not quite the force of past years, remains a threat at this level. However, the hosts have failed to win any of their last four matches, while they failed to keep clean sheets in each of their last five fixtures. 

With the Poles buoyed by their win in Scotland, and in decent goalscoring form, I expect both nations to get on the scoresheet on Sunday. 

BTTS is my top tip, with Croatia potentially having enough quality to snatch a narrow home victory.
