Greece will be looking to continue their recent impressive form across all competitions when they host Ireland in Dublin on Tuesday for the second matchday of the Nations League in Group F.
After missing out on the World Cup in Qatar, the visitors suffered another heartbreak in EURO qualifying when they were knocked out of the play-offs by Georgia on penalties. It was only a matter of time before the Blues and Whites responded and they have done so with two wins from their last three matches. Their most recent victory came in the Nations League at the Karaiskakis Stadium, where they thrashed Finland and head coach Ivan Jovanovi? will be hoping for a similar display on Tuesday.
The Republic of Ireland have given their fans little to cheer about in recent years. Heimir Hallgrímsson's side again failed to qualify for the World Cup and didn't also make it to EURO 2024. The Boys in Green go into Tuesday's game with just one win in their last six matches, with their only victory coming in a friendly against Hungary.
Ireland vs Greece Betting Tips: Double Chance Greece
Aside to not having not one of the greatest form right now, Ireland have not had much joy in their recent home matches and I expect these problems to continue on Tuesday. The hosts boast just one win from their last five competitive home games, with the other four being defeats. They also failed to score in three of those encounters, so a win for Ireland on Tuesday will be a surprise.

Ireland team news
Ireland head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson is expected to make changes to his Ireland side that was on the pitch from kickoff in the 2-0 defeat to England last time.
Having featured as substitutes in that game, English Premier League trio Evan Ferguson, Jake O'Brien and Kasey McAteer are among those likely to benefit from this reshuffle.

Greece team news
As for Greece, head coach Ivan Jovanovi? is likely to retain the side that thrashed Finland 3-0 in Piraeus on the opening day of Group F matches.
Fotis Ioannidis will continue to lead the line following his brace last time out and could be supported by Dimitrios Pelkas, while midfielder Anastasios Chatzigiovannis is a doubt after he was taken off at half time against Finland.
