A potentially tight contest can be expected when last season's EPL champions and runners-up square-off in Manchester. 

While both teams are strong in attack, recent encounters between these rivals have been tight. Four of their last six meetings saw under 2.5 goals scored, including a goalless draw at this venue in their most recent meeting in March. Since the end of last season, Arsenal kept clean sheets in ten of 14 EPL fixtures.

As a consequence of their defensive stoutness, each of Arsenal′s last five games saw under 2.5 goals scored. That outcome also occurred in five of their last seven away EPL matchups.

Of course, Man City have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in each of their last seven home EPL matches, but Wednesday′s stalemate against Inter offers up some clues on what we can expect this weekend.

While an early goal could trigger a fascinating, high-scoring outcome, a more tactical affair seems likely, with under 2.5 goals offering plenty of value.

In the end, a low-scoring draw seems the likeliest outcome on Sunday, so I′ll take a chance on less than three goals scored at the Etihad.
