If we exclude the 2022/23 season, Midtjylland have been either the best or the second-best team in Denmark in the previous seven seasons. Last year, they won the title at a super close end of the season. This year, they had a mediocre start in the Superliga as they won five points in three games and are in 6th place. Still, the top spot is just two points away, and the game against out-of-form Vejle is the perfect opportunity to move further up. Right now, they are the third favorite for the title, behind FC Copenhagen and Brondby. On the other hand, "the Wolves" have been exceptional in the Champions League Qualifiers, winning all three games.

Vejle constantly traveled between the first and second tiers of Danish football. Last year, they were in a pretty tough situation but managed to avoid relegation after a really good end of the season when they won four of the last five matches. However, this season isn't going according to plan, as they are the last-placed team and the only one without a single point after three rounds. Now, they have to look for points against Midtjylland at MCH Arena, where they had no success in over a decade.

Midtjylland are undefeated in six games this season. The only two draws they had were on the road, against really good teams - Nordsjaelland and Aarhus. Meanwhile, at MCH Arena, the Wolves won all three games with a 5:0 goal difference. Their last game, against Ferencvaros (2:0), was pretty impressive as they beat a team that held its own last year in Europe against teams like Fiorentina, Olympiacos, or Genk.

On the other hand, Vejle had an awful start to the season, having lost all three games. Yes, they had a tough schedule as they faced Randers FC, Nordsjaelland, and Brondby, but we do not expect a game against Midtjylland to be any easier.

In the previous h2h games, Midtjylland won the last four matches and seven in a row at home. Vejle last secured a positive result at MCH Arena in 2010!

Considering the previous h2h games, the difference in quality, and a massive difference in form, we strongly believe Midtjylland should secure a comfortable win on home turf.
