In group B of the EURO U21 qualifiers, Spain is the big favorite, and the only team that could offer them stronger resistance on paper are Scotland and Belgium. The other teams, including Hungary, will have to play super strong in order to join the fight for at least the 2nd place in the table.

Before the continuation of these qualifications, Scotland played a friendly match against Austria in which they were demolished 5-0. In March, they were much better in the match against Turkey, which ended with a 2-1 defeat. Scotland is currently ahead of Belgium and has a good chance of maintaining that position.

Spain won 5 out of 6 matches played and against Scotland they triumphed 1-0 in September. This is a match ball for them in order to qualify directly for the EURO and it is certain that they will be maximally motivated

This generation of Scottish players has potential and they showed that with wins against Belgium and Hungary. They have two remaining matches against these teams, from which will depend whether they will place in 2nd place at the end of the qualifications. Spain is too much of a challenge, and the fact is that Crvena Furija did not play too well in the first match when they were hosts and now they can do much better. We expect the guests to win with a comfortable result, maybe with a 2 or more goal difference, but AH -1 is a perfectly fine option
