Jevgenijs ‘The Hurricane’ Aleksejevs. Profile and record
A world-leading UK betting site aggregator, MightyTips.com, has added Jacob Chapman to their roster of sponsored Championship players.
The Huddersfield Town AFC and Australia U23 goalkeeper is the fourth player from the division to be sponsored by MightyTips.com following agreements with Blackburn Rovers captain midfielder Lewis Travis, Cardiff City central defender Dimitrios Goutas, and Sheffield Wednesday stalwart Liam Palmer.
The sponsorship of Chapman was brought forward when his Huddersfield teammate Scott High was loaned to Ross County. High had also been sponsored by MightyTips before his move north of the border.
MightyTips is aiming to raise its brand awareness in the UK, attracting new potential customers by establishing partnerships with recognisable names in professional football. The agreement to sponsor Jacob Chapman further enhances this push, and the MightyTips squad will be keeping a close eye on Huddersfield results throughout the campaign as they aim to return to the Premier League. After a slow start to the season, the Terriers are up and running after back-to-back victories and will hope to push on.
Who is Chapman? A promising goalkeeper born in 2000, Chapman began his career with semi-professional sides Sydney United 58 and Marconi Stallions, before impressing Huddersfield scouts enough to earn a contract offer from the Championship side.
Although he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Terriers, he's enjoyed fruitful loan spells at Gateshead and Salford over the past couple of seasons. His talent is not going unnoticed by coaching staff from his country of birth. Chapman was picked for the Socceroos' U23 squad for the U23 Asia Cup in Uzbekistan in June 2022.
MightyTips.com Communications and Marketing Manager Eugene Ravdin:
At MightyTips, we are as energised by exciting talent as we are established stars. Jacob Chapman is a great example of the type of player whose career we will take great pleasure in following and watching it blossom over the coming seasons. There is no doubting his ball-handling and shot-stopping abilities. Here's hoping he gets his big break soon.
Huddersfield Town was founded in 1908 and rose to the very top in 1920s when they won three consecutive league titles and FA Cup in 1921/22.
