MightyTips.com announces third partnership with pro-Championship footballer.

One of the world's biggest betting guide websites has added Huddersfield Town AFC and Scotland U21 midfielder Scott High to their family of sponsored Championship players.

Scott High becomes the third player from the Championship division to be sponsored by MightyTips.com after Blackburn Rovers captain midfielder Lewis Travis and Cardiff City central defender Dimitrios Goutas.

To build a stronger association with professional football, raise brand awareness in the UK, and engage with potential new customers, MightyTips.com will sponsor Scott High in the 2023/24 season as Huddersfield Town aim to extend their stay in the Championship and put the building blocks in place for a tilt at promotion to the Premier League.

The MightyTips.com verdict

MightyTips.com Communications and Marketing Manager Eugene Ravdin said:

We are excited by signing the player sponsorship deal for Scott High with Huddersfield Town. While he is still to establish himself in senior league football, his talent is obvious, and his demeanour off the pitch promises a bright future for him. And when he succeeds, we want to be there. We hope he has enough chances to prove himself this season and that he grabs them with both hands.

About Scott High

Scott High

An agile centre-midfielder with excellent balance and a great eye for a pass, High first came to prominence to the broader supporter base after winning the club's Academy Player of the Year award in the 2018/19 season.

It was the culmination of a decade of hard work at the Terriers, whom he first joined as a nine-year-old.

He is one of the club's longest-serving trainees, and if a bigger team doesn't snap him up over the coming seasons, he already has the makings of a club legend.

His career has benefitted from a few vital experiences, with loan spells at Shrewsbury Town and Rotherham United in the previous two seasons. This year feels like a big one for High, who will be hoping for more regular first-team action.

What next?

Although High was not involved in the opening day Championship defeat to Plymouth, he did manage 45 minutes in a 3-2 loss against Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup.

Huddersfield have some big games to prevent a poor start to the season from becoming a terrible one - they face Middlesbrough (A) once more and Norwich (H). Starts to the season don't come much more challenging in the Championship.

About Huddersfield AFC

Huddersfield Town AFC, established in 1908, has a rich football history. They became the first English club to win three consecutive league titles (1924-26), a feat only matched by three other teams.

After facing ups and downs over the decades, including a slide to the fourth tier and a rise to Premier League status in 2017, Huddersfield continues to be a competitive force in the English Football League Championship, demonstrating resilience and a beautiful commitment to the beautiful game.
